mplay

mplay is a MIDI file player for Windows. Features:

• sound is generated using a VST2 plugin or a hardware synth
• prints all text metaevents embedded in the file (e.g. karaoke lyrics)
• can apply VST2 effects on the master output (a single effect, actually)
• supports rendering the song to a WAV file
• simulates the Roland SC-88 LCD display
• supports high DPI mode
• supports multiport MIDI files (meta event FF 21)
• supports the following MIDI formats: .mid (standard MIDI files), .rmi, .rcp (Recomposer)
• works fine in Wine
